Town of Pike Road

What began as a community with a little more than 300 people has now grown into a prosperous and thriving town of more than 8,500.  According to data released by the Census Bureau, the Town of Pike Road has seen a 14.5 percent growth rate since 2012. This makes the municipality the fastest growing in the state of Alabama. This growth continues to impact economic development throughout the River Region.

From the beginning, careful planning with an emphasis on preserving character has been a fundamental component to the growth of Pike Road. This unique municipal model is built on great partnerships, strong volunteers, a dedicated staff and an engaged group of residents.

“As long as we focus on our people, the Town of Pike Road will continue to be a great place to live, regardless of our size. The greatest vote of confidence that a town can receive is when individuals choose to locate their families in your area. As we continue to emphasize education and activities that bring our community together in a fun and safe environment, then we will continue to grow. If you want to live in a community where people emphasize hospitality and truly live the motto, ‘Welcome Home,’ then the Town of Pike Road is the place for you.”

– Pike Road Mayor Gordon Stone
