The Pike Road Arts Council and the Alabama Plein Air Artists will host the first-ever Pike Road Plein Air Paint Out. During a plein air event, professional artists take to the outdoors to paint scenes of natural beauty and historical significance. Beginning with a “quick-draw paint out” at The Waters on Friday, the event will also include a kids’ watercolor paint out Saturday morning and artists’ reception and wet paint sale Saturday night.
