At The Waters, one of the things we love most about living in Pike Road is being part of a community that deeply values education, leadership, and investing in the future. That’s why we’re excited to celebrate a major announcement from the Pike Road School District!

The Pike Road Schools Board of Education has officially announced the selection of Dr. Jason Goodwin as the district’s next superintendent, effective July 1, 2026.

Currently serving as Deputy Superintendent, Dr. Goodwin will transition into his new role this summer, bringing extensive experience in secondary education and district administration to the position. Just as importantly, he already understands the unique culture and strong sense of community that make Pike Road so special.

“It’s an exciting opportunity. I love being a part of the Pike Road System,” said Dr. Goodwin. “The support from our leadership team, each department, the Town of Pike Road, and the community is unmatched. We appreciate that our community is so heavily invested in education.”

Dr. Goodwin has been with Pike Road Schools for two years and the Goodwin family has quickly become an active and valued part of the community they now proudly call home.
