Season of Giving 2020

12/07

The Town of Pike Road’s annual Season of Giving Holiday Collections Drive has officially begun! This drive benefits the  Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System & the Woodland United Methodist Church Food Pantry.
The Town invites you to donate new and unopened items that will help veterans and others in need during the winter months. The Woodland UMC Food Pantry accepts non-perishable food items and household items, including laundry detergent, freezer bags, and can openers.
Some of the items often needed by patients in local Veterans Administration facilities include:
– Personal hygiene items such as toothpaste and toothbrushes, deodorant, hairbrushes, dry skin cream and razors.
– Winter weather items such as hats, regular and no-skid slipper socks, and lap robes.
