On Oct. 26-27 2018, over 40 plein air artists from both the Alabama Plein Air Artists and states across the country brought bright eyes and creative spirits to our hometown to capture the beauty of our community on canvas in their own special ways.
Artists Barbara Davis and Alisa Koch provided live painting demonstrations, and all artists painted around Town on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 26 & 27. The weekend wrapped up with an Art Show & Sale featuring fresh works from the weekend and other pieces by visiting artists at New Waters Realty. The community voted Craig Reynolds for the “People’s Choice Award,” and many walked away with original pieces of Pike Road all their own. Thank you to The Waters and the New Waters Realty Team for hosting artists this weekend, and for welcoming the community for the Oct. 27 Art Show & Sale.
