Within The Waters community, there are three beautiful lakes, each offering its own character and connection to the outdoors. Whether you’re drawn to wide-open water, quiet shoreline views, or tucked-away fishing spots, there’s always a lake within reach.

Lake Cameron – Montgomery County’s largest lake, spanning 200 acres and serving as the centerpiece of the community. Professionally managed and designed for recreation, it offers expansive water views, fishing, kayaking, boating and shoreline trails. You can find seven lakeside piers and the Boathouse on Lake Cameron.
Lake Sweet T – A scenic lakeside retreat near the sport courts and pools, offering picturesque views, a large pier and peaceful moments throughout the day.
Jake Lake – A more intimate lake experience, surrounded by green space and ideal for quiet reflection or casting a line close to home.
Boating & Water Access
The Waters offers courtesy access to kayaks, canoes, pontoon and fishing boats from the community boathouse and beach area. Whether you paddle at sunrise or cruise at sunset, lake life here is effortless and accessible.
The Beach
Located beside Lucas Point Pool, the white sand beach offers another relaxing place to enjoy the lakefront at The Waters. Residents can launch complimentary kayaks and canoes right from the shoreline, or simply unwind in the Adirondack chairs and take in the peaceful views of Lake Cameron. It’s the perfect spot for a quiet moment by the water or a casual afternoon outdoors.
The Boathouse
As a resident at The Waters, you’ll have access to the Boathouse located at the center of all your water adventures on Lake Cameron, Montgomery County’s largest lake. At the Boathouse, you can host an event in one of the unique multi-purpose rooms, or just enjoy the views. Kayaks, canoes, two pontoon pleasure boats, and two fishing boats are available for residents to enjoy. And, all watercraft are either people-powered or electric at The Waters to preserve the quiet nature of the community.
