Business in Pike Road

One of the things that makes life at The Waters special is having so much right in our backyard, and the list continues to grow. Just beyond the neighborhood, new businesses are opening throughout Pike Road alongside the local favorites that have served the community for years.

The Waters Town Center

Within the neighborhood, The Waters Town Center is located just across from Town Square and hosts a collection of shops, restaurants, and services, making it possible to fit quite a bit into the day without venturing out of the neighborhood. Start the morning with coffee and breakfast from Hole in the Wall Coffee, stop by NYC Gyro & Market for Mediterranean dishes, American favorites, or a few convenience items, or make time for an appointment at Aqua Salon & Spa or NexGen Nail Salon. The Town Center is also home to Homestead Gym & Training, a 24-hour boutique fitness center; The Spot Activity Center; Pike Road Dental; Kingry Orthodontics; and Cindy Barganier Interiors. Across the street, Town Square and The Back Porch provide space for neighborhood events, live music, and casual gatherings—bringing even more energy to this walkable corner of The Waters.

I85 Exit 16

The Exit 16 corridor continues to grow alongside familiar stops such as Locos Taqueria, Eagle Pike Road and Ellianos Coffee. Frutta Bowls recently opened inside Eagle Pike Road, bringing customizable açaí bowls, smoothies, toasts, and other fresh options to the area. Teriyaki Madness and Barberitos have also joined the growing lineup. Whether you are grabbing coffee, picking up lunch, or filling up on your way out of town, Exit 16 continues to be an even more convenient stop for The Waters residents.

Merry Corners Comes to Life
Near the intersection of Vaughn Road and Pike Road, Merry Corners has quickly become one of the area’s newest destinations for dining, shopping and everyday services. The growing center includes an assortment of restaurants, coffee, healthcare, retail and professional services. Newer additions include AKay’s Coffee, Baptist Health Primary Care, Firehouse Subs, Lee Gimbap, Teriyaki Madness, McDonald’s Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Pro Bowl Mongolian Grill, Nolan Family Pharmacy and Simply Charming Boutique. One of the latest arrivals is The GOAT Bar & Grill, offering food, drinks, sports viewing and golf simulator bays in one new Pike Road gathering place. River Bank & Trust is the next site set to open. Merry Corners sits directly across from The Shops at Pike Road and Pike Road Town Hall, where Publix anchors another growing collection of restaurants, shops and services. Together, the two developments have created a convenient hub in the heart of Pike Road.

The Local Favorites We Still Love

Of course, Pike Road’s story is not only about what is new. Some of the best places around town are those that have been part of the community for years. The historic John Hall Store remains a Pike Road landmark and a favorite destination for food, live music, and a relaxed evening out. SweetCreek Farm Market is another longtime favorite, known for its café, homemade treats, seasonal produce, locally sourced goods, and unmistakable country charm. These special places help preserve the personality and traditions that make Pike Road feel like Pike Road, even as new businesses continue to arrive. From the shops and services within The Waters Town Center to the growing destinations throughout Pike Road, residents have more choices than ever for dining, shopping, entertainment, and everyday errands. It is the best of both worlds: neighborhood conveniences just a short stroll away, exciting new places to discover nearby, and longtime local favorites that never go out of style.
