Join Kiwanis of Pike Road at The Waters for the Pike Road Family Fun Run on Saturday, April 13th! Proceeds from the 3rd Annual Family Fun Run will help support the Pike Road Kiwanis Scholarship Fund.

The untimed 5K event begins at 8 AM, with registration starting as early as 7 AM at Town Square in The Waters and is open to all levels and ages of runners.

Kiwanis Club President Matt Missildine said proceeds from the Fun Run go toward college scholarships for seniors living in Pike Road. The club has given $13,500 in scholarships in the last two years.

Students have used the scholarships to attend Auburn, Alabama, Tuskegee, Montevallo, Troy, and Southern Union.

“Supporting the youth in our community is the mission of Kiwanis; everything we do is to support and provide them opportunities that they may not have otherwise,” Matt Missildine, Kiwanis of Pike Road.

Participants in the Fun Run will receive a T-shirt. Registration is $25 for adults and $15 for children. Registration will also be available on the morning of the fun run at the pavilion in the Town Square (201 Waters View Drive, Pike Road, AL)
