An Announcement from Dr. Suzanne Freeman, Superintendent of Pike Road Schools”
“It is my honor to announce that the Pike Road Board of Education named Mrs. Angela Lang as principal of Pike Road School, effective January 1, 2016. As you know, Mrs. Lang is a true leader and has been instrumental in the start up of Pike Road Schools. She thoroughly understands The Pike Road Way, has a heart for all children, and is a continuous learner. I deeply value her as an essential member of our PRS Administrative Team.
Mrs. Lang has earned this well-deserved title; however, titles are secondary to our administrative team. Rather, our focus remains on whatever it takes to fully implement The Pike Road Way. Mrs. Angela Lang, Mr. Ryan Kendall, Mr. Dustin Daehn, Mr. Bryan Cutter, Mrs. Lisa Highfield, and I will continue to make collaborative decisions and share administrative responsibilities at PRS. For each of us, it is about getting it right for our children and we value each other as well as our entire PRS Team in this process.
My office will remain on campus and I will continue to participate in all aspects of school life as we all work together to achieve our mission of creating a culture of intellectual curiosity where all students have ownership of their learning and are inspired to think, innovate, and create.
